Good for Arnie to visit the troops! But the bigger story here is the National Guard on the border at Obama's request. I will be very interested in seeing how this pans out and how Mexico reacts to it. Their statement that they are just observing I think is ridiculous.

Will there be Border Patrol agents working with the National Guard at every "observation" point? Or will they have to call the agents every time they come across a situation that needs a response? How much authority does the National Guard have to respond to a direct problem?
