T&T Policemen

stop.gif' /><!--endemo--> When you were young you were told that if you were lost or in trouble that you should look for the nearest policeman, because they would <!--WORD2URL-01--><a href='https://www.bordeglobal.com/foruminv/index.php?&act=Help' title='' target='_blank'><b><!--END WORD2URL-01-->help<!--WORD2URL-02--></b></a><!--END WORD2URL-02--> you. On the police car is the words, '<b>To Protect & Serve</b>'.<br /><br />Now let us evaluate our policemen and policewomen, not from a media standpoint, but from the one on one interaction you have had with them.<br /><br />Here are some things to think about:<br /><br />1. If you are pulled over by the police, do they approach you with 'Sir' or 'Madam' or 'Miss'?<br />2. If you walk pass a police officer and say, 3. If a police officer asks you to step aside, would he/she do it saying, "Please" or would they say, "Move"?
4. When making an arrest, does the officer start cursing in order to get the co-operation of the suspect?
5. Do police officers look at you as though they want to arrest you (if you are a man) or go to bed with you (if you are a woman)?
6. Do the police obey the traffic laws when driving?
7. If you ran into a police station frantically asking for help, would it be likely that you can get the police to respond right away?
8. If you ask a question to a police officer, and the officer responds with an answer you do not understand, and you say, "Sorry, can you explain that again, I do not understand." What is the response you end to get?

These are just a few situations, please list more and tell us your actual instances with the police.

1. If you are pulled over by the police, do they approach you with 'Sir' or 'Madam' or 'Miss'?

They tell you 'hey' if you're lucky lol , sometimes you get the nice ones who call you 'Miss'. smile.gif

2. If you walk pass a police officer and say, "Good Morning", do they tend to reply with the same?

They may answer you but with a dog face like saying why are you bothering me!!! sad.gif

3. If a police officer asks you to step aside, would he/she do it saying, "Please" or would they say, "Move"?

Well, I want to believe they will say please if they don't want to get a rebuke from me! tongue.gif

4. When making an arrest, does the officer start cursing in order to get the co-operation of the suspect?

ALLLLLL the time, what about some kicks too?

QUOTE
5. Do police officers look at you as though they want to arrest you (if you are a man) or go to bed with you (if you are a woman)?

Oh yeah, they look at you and they even want to tell you something but they know they cannot do it so they just look at you like if  need a cold shower right away. Disgusting.

QUOTE
6. Do the police obey the traffic laws when driving?

Not at all, they even cross in red and high speed

QUOTE
7. If you ran into a police station frantically asking for help, would it be likely that you can get the police to respond right away?

Well, I'm afraid to even go to a police station by myself. If I'm in danger I will not enter to a police station for sure, I don't know where I would be more safe, there or running in the street. sad.gif

8. If you ask a question to a police officer, and the officer responds with an answer you do not understand, and you say, "Sorry, can you explain that again, I do not understand." What is the response you end to get?

'You're a dotish?' What's wrong with you?', that will be the answer after a series of faces of course. tongue.gif
