What is your review for the National Geographic Taboo documentary on Pagan Nude Worship in Australia?

Many pagans believe not only in naked bodies when worshiping but also orgies. Some covens in Wiccan and Pagan worship look at sex in this sense as a divine ability that brings forth raw energies, required for certain magics.

I do not agree with this practice yet, I have read and heard of covens that embrace this. Personally I feel getting naked or having sexual acts with people in this way is sick and pagans use religion as an excuse to do this. I have a Wiccan background and this sort of thing in my experience does not enhance any sort of religious act.

It just gives people a reason to act like animals. Just because your heart is pumping harder and such does not mean you are closer to God. However people delight in lying to each other.

I just wonder how being naked makes a religious act better. If it is truly religious how does being naked make it better. This is more of a new age act I would wager, I doubt the true pagans of the past truly partook in such acts, seems a bit childish.

I think its just an excuse to get naked. I can't imagine that any religious ceremony would require you to get naked for any good reason other than either taking away your inhibitions (And I would question why) or just getting a kick out of seeing how the next person looks in their birthday suit.
