My average is around 85-90 with a few mistakes, netspeed. Just 2 weeks ago my average was 81, but I'm trying to get to 100 WPM with no mistakes... lol in my dreams ;D

hehe, that was interesting! never done a test like that before:

- NET SPEED:   41 WPM

I wonder if they could add a html typing test, i might get better results!!  :-)

A long time ago, I was a secretary and could type faster. This is definately something that improves as you use it. Used to be on a typewriter and 64 WPM would be excellent. Typing on a computer keyboard has made average typing speeds go up.

in computer class last year at school everyone had to do this typing program and it logged everything, i think my max was like 85 wpm with no mistakes....

however, i think how many wmp you type at varies on what your typing, ex: copying a paper, someone lecturing, you thinking as you go along

I'm not so fast at typing anymore, generally betwen 65 and 75. But I'm super fast on the 10-key with just numbers I average about 17k ksph, with 98-100% accuracy. Zippy

I think I was more nervous because it was a test and that's why I did this bad! That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it

Well, I couldn't get that particular test to work for me, but I found another one. I had a gross speed of 33 WPM, with an adjusted speed of 31.

Pretty good considering that I am hunting and pecking with a pencil or chopstick in one-hand! (Pencil at the moment, since I think the soft eraser will do less damage to my keyboard.)

I feel I could have done better had I been on a 'normal' keyboard and not a laptop, but here are the results:

70 WPM
98% accuracy
for a grand total of 68 WPM.

Not too bad I guess...
