[Email] Sneaky Subject

Spam mail is getting more and more sneaky these days, they get you to look at the content by putting 'personalized' subjects. When you open the email you find out it has nothing to do with the subject at all, just another sales gimmick. What are some of the subject lines that you fell for?

Here are some tricky ones that got me in the past before I put in a filter:

1. Hi :)
2. Server is down
3. Forgot my password
4. You did not email me back

I get those sneaky ones all the time.

*Hey, you remember me?  (this one always fools me.  I belong to Classmates.com and my email addy is on there for old school friends to contact me).
*The status of your account
*Nadine, here's the info........

1. JB, remember me?
2. JB cannot enter site
3. webmaster, need site designed
4. please update my site

Spam filter on my host plus configuring my browser throws these kinds of things in the spam folder, but it is still a hassle.

I frequently see a few myself such as:

Information you requested!
Did you get this e-mail?
Hey this is *some random name* (I guess hoping I know someone by that name.)


Spam filters have really gotten down to the dirt to eliminate many e-mails regardless of subject and sender but even content so I actually see very few outside my spam folder.
