Look at it this way, if you don't make your move someone will make it for you. In business its a doggy dog world. While it will be nice if we can all wait our turn and be friendly about it in reality its not this way in business.

Comments: born gifted is one thing and usually undisputable. But this is more along the lines of say a personal example. I've got 10 years experience as an assistant supervisor and as a trained ISO auditor. This new job I've been at for 3 years is well aware of it and hired be because of it. We have a very overly bossy coworker that has not only sent everyone in out department to HR to complain about her rude behavior but also from other cells she doesn't even work at… ok so she has no training in management, no people skills, and only been on the job one year. Any complaint taken to the supervisor is answered with "im working with her". She is being trained and groomed for a supervisor spot and as part of that she was leading the ISO audit team as an unofficial supervisor… so what's the difference between us? I have zero complaints against me, trained ISO auditor, experienced in management, 43 year old male.... Vs her… skinny blonde 22 year old girl with no experience in pretty much anything and HR knows her well. Oh and the supervisor moved her to sit by him too. So was she born a supervisor savant or is she crushing other peoples careers by stepping on people and wearing yoga pants and literally crying to the boss to get her way up the ladder?
