LDS films

There is a web site called ldsfilm.com where they show all the latest movies by LDS directors or about LDS people. I found interesting movies, one is called 'In the Service of God" is about a young man named Peter about to propose to his girlfriend Molly. But before doing so he learns that Molly would never agree to marry a man who didn't do his home teaching 100%. It's the last day of the month, and Peter has not done his home teaching, and he scrambles to visit his families (after finding out who they are) before popping the
question to Molly.
lol It seems like they can create a movie for anything!smile.gif

There is another movie called 'The Book of  Mormon' that it has a good budget on. You can check their official web site at https://www.bookofmormonmovie.com

This one really bothered me sad.gif  It's called "Latter Days" directorial debut of "Sweet Home Alabama" screenwriter C. Jay Cox: GLBT party boy/waiter (Wesley
Ramsey of "Guiding Light") makes a bet he can seduce an LDS missionary from Idaho (Steve Sandvoss), but falls in love with him; Joseph Gordon-Levitt ("Treasure Planet") plays the pivotal role of Ryder, the missionary companion who discovers the romance; November 2002 filming in Los Angeles; 2003 release.

You can check ldsfilm.com for a huge list of movies.

The Latter Days film may bother you, but it certainly does happen in real life. I cannot believe the minds of some people, they are all nice on the outside, but within they are as dark as a pitch lake. Yes, I am talking from first hand knowledge of many that I have seen actually trying to do this to the missionary force. I might add, many go on missions with the intention to find a husband or wife as the case may be.

I bet JB missed the part about "he" tried to seduce.... I know I did. Then I found the description at the site and there is no mistake about it.

laugh.gif@Tena....oh well....is not a Church film anyway wink.gif. I want to become an actress and when I read things like this, I wonder wow....if I ever make it big, I may have to reject so many roles (knowing how the world have become) . There are also great LDS directors that try to make a positive contribution to the society.
