Crescent City (AP) - Joe Francis never thought the sticky ignition keyhole in his truck would be a blessing.
But when his truck was stolen, the Crescent City man didn't get mad. He just stole it back.
After losing his truck, Francis was on his way to buy a new truck when he spotted his old truck headed the other way.
He followed it until the driver pulled into a driveway. He hoped the keys would still be in the ignition because they usually get stuck.
Francis was right. When the man went inside, Francis jumped in the truck and drove away.
Police later arrested Shawn Ray Hill, a Folsom State Prison parolee, for car theft and receiving stolen property.
Haha, thats funny. The only thing i like about livin in a small town is that you know everyone. We had some guy try to steal our Audi a4 a while back. It was a bright yellow sports car and the only one in town. This guy was driving it out of town and since my dad knows all the cops, they recognized that it wasn't my dad or anything in my family driving and arrested the guy.
