I am a big Owen Wilson fan! I loved him in shanghai noon and shanghai knights and in both meet the parents and meet the fockers! I think that he is an under rated actor and is very funny as any character he plays. I recommend seeing all four of those movies just for his characters!

I always notice how some comedy actors that make people laugh, they live (in real life) a very depressed lifestyle. It seems like Owen, as young and healthy as he looks like, tried to committed suicide.

This news of Owen Wilson's suicide attempt has sent shockwaves through Hollywood. It is always very difficult to grasp why people, who are accustomed making others laugh, would commit suicide. Sometimes comedians have an excellent way of creating a facade for the world to see. But deep down inside, they are miserable and have their own problems just like everyone else. It is speculated that there may be a connection between his suicide attempt and Kate Hudson ending their relationship. Who knows? Maybe individuals who are accustomed being the centre of attention, are unable to cope with or accept rejection.
