999 Emergency Number In Trinidad & Tobago

Name: Kareem

Title: E999

Comments: Hi Good Day, I witnessed a suspicious activity on the EMR(Vicinity of Mt Dor) at 11:15 am on the 31/03/2017 and being a good citizen I decided to call "999" to report it. When I called I tried five times, I got an auto attendant saying to the effect welcome to the police service emergency number and please hold on for the next available attendant. I am making it very clear. I am totally disappointed with this service. If it were a real crime happening live, something to your relative, precious time to save a life would be lost. I expressed my displease to an attendant at the 555 emergency number after several failed attempts to 999. To add a service like this should NOT have some one waiting.

Tobago and Trinidad Number Emergency

I've heard stories about getting an answering machine but its never happened to me. The only thing I thought was unusual was hearing the phone ring more than once. For me, a number like this should be instantly picked up and answered.

Title: Emergency number in Trinidad

Comments: Let's face it- there is nothing- nothing that is of "emergency" in Trinidad. Have you seen how ALL government workers work? Have you been to the "emergency" department at our Hospitals? Have you seen how our driving public respond to an ambulance or police siren? Have you been in a situation that required immediate assistance and watch peoples' reactions? Have you ever seen or heard of any action taken by our government leaders on anything? Emergency- yet another word no longer understood in Trinidad.
