Comments: I heard some of the missionaries of the Mormon church talking on a bus and one said to the other that their hump day was coming up soon and he was so excited for it. I was wondering what a "hump day' is for Mormons?

Comments: (laugh) that just means that he was reaching the second half of his mission. The mission lasts for 2 years and so when a missionary reaches the second half of his mission, some refer to it as "hump day." It's in reference to a slope, where it goes up and then down, creating a "hump."
I never used the term in my mission, although I heard a couple missionaries mention it. So that's pretty much what it means...to reach the second half of your mission. It's exciting because it just means you have been a missionary for a whole year. hope that answers your question.
