Paranormal Challenge - Season 1 Episode 1 - Renowned investigator and Paranormal Challenge chairman Zak Bagans has chosen Pennhurst State School, in Spring City, Pennsylvania as the investigation site for this episode. Due to severe overcrowding and repulsive conditions, Pennhurst State School was an unthinkable wasteland of suffering and neglect. Pennhurst was originally built as a safe haven for so many troubled and lost souls in 1908, and it slowly degenerated into a dumping ground for thousands of disabled patients. Now abandoned, this decaying campus is a virtual hornet's nest of paranormal activity.
