It is only moral dilemma usually surrounding some religious belief that stops us from thinking about the beauty of the body. When they sculpt a lion or a gorilla, they are in fact sculpting a naked creature so why are we any different since we are animals ourselves?

The body is a natural part of nature. We weren't born with clothes on but because of society's rules we see the body like something that must be hidden. The body is a beautiful part of nature, nothing wrong with making art out of it.

I went to the article hoping to get a look at it but they wanted me to install something to see it. I have mixed feelings on it. I would have to see how naked and the position of the statue, etc. We already have naked statues but you have to go to special places for that.

The body is the natural state. Being nude is something very natural and as Hector stated above, else we will be born with clothes.

Rather off topic, but...
Christianity made a huge damage to what is "Correct" and "Wrong" and after the Hellenistic era the nude body (Or the body in general) was deemed insufficient and corrupt.

Nude is not porn. However, the erotic stimuli can be anything, not only nude skin.

Contemporary art is doing everything just to schock the public and justify its existence and "Evolution", but for me (And from an architect's point of view) is nothing more than noise.
