Williams compares Obama to Hitler
The cable TV sports network ESPN pulled Hank Williams Jr's classic intro song from its broadcast of Monday night's National Football League game after the country singer famous for the line "Are you ready for some football?" used an analogy to Adolf Hitler in discussing President Barack Obama. Hank Williams Jr. Declares war
Hank Williams Jr. Was fired by ESPN after comments he made during an interview on Fox News in which he dared to make an analogy using the suddenly off limits 'Hitler' reference (see BUSH = Hitler). Of course, he wasn't even comparing the two, he was making an analogy -- but don't make the media think too hard or they might fall over. Hank responds strongly with a brand new theme song that declares war and draws a clear line in the sand. Ref. Source 2
EPIC interview: Hank Williams, Jr.
Hank Williams Jr. has drawn a line in the sand and obviously does not care one bit about what people think about him. He's going to say whatever he wants - and apparently he really means it. He stopped by the Glenn Beck radio program today to talk about the non-controversial controversy, the aftermath, and what's in store. Ref. Source 7
