Comments: It was probably really important to know this before guns were invented but now? Its not like you will be walking down the street with a sword in your hand in case of a mugging. Plus what good is a sword if everyone else has a gun?

While I've never studied any kind of sword fighting wouldn't it be totally awesome to learn it? Not everything has to be about self-defense it can just be sport.
