Define A Redneck - Page 2

I know a few people who are proud to be rednecks. It is a cultural thing. And a lot of them take it with them into the cities, into professions, wherever they go.

Their's a National Gaurd unit from North Carolina here in Iraq. That unit is full of Rednecks. I like watching the Iraqi's trying to understand their English. laugh.gif! The Iraqi's will always look at me and say. " I do not understand this type of English ". I tried to explain to them about American's from the South. But he didn't understand because of the language barrier.

Define A Redneck History & Civil Business Politics

Rednecks are not isolated to Southern U.S.A. We in Canada have our share of rednecks. Some Canadians even think we have a redneck province. 'Alberta"

In Canada, pretty well the same characteristics ie White anglo saxon protestants, generally living in the rural areas. love guns, pick-up trucks..etc.., intolerant to anything that is different and/or to what they don't understand, not educated and in the majority of cases no class and to the extreme right of the political spector.

In Canada rednecks are are a dying breed.
