Fifth Generation

26. Basil Dermot Borde (Edgard Hypolite , Edgar Hypolite , Hypolite , Ougust ) was born on 28 Dec 1929 in 80 Edward St., POS, Trinidad, West Indies. He died on 29 Mar 1991 in Hospice Warner St., Newtown, POS, Trinidad, West Indies from Cancer and was buried in Crematorium, Long Circular, Trinidad, West Indies.

Basil D. Borde had striking grey eyes and a charisma that always captured the attention of those he came in contact. Basil married his first wife Marion Halfide and had three sons. His second wife, Felicia Juanita Ramos, of Trinidad, West Indies and had Jean A. B. Borde. Although this site does not cover the lineage through her it is however planned for the future. Basil Borde kept lengthy journals which cover much of his feelings and relations with his brothers and sisters. He was always happy to share stories of his ancestors and it is my hope that more will be shared to add to each name here.

Basil married (1) Felicia Juanita Ramos "Ann", daughter of Pedro Ramos and Virginia Montano.

Rudolph married (1) Carmen Govia on 15 Feb 1947 in St. Ann's Church, POS, Trinidad, West Indies. Carmen was born on 01 Oct 1920 in Guyana. She died on 05 Oct 1968 in POS, Trinidad, West Indies.
