What is Genealogy?

Genealogy is the process by which you trace your ancestry, bloodline or as some people call it, "family history".

The best way to start to find your 'roots' is to simply ask those of your family that are living such as parents, grand parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. In many cases you may find close friends who can also give you leads if you are not able to get official birth, marriage, and burial documentation.

Much of the information I have contained in this site was compiled through short interviews with relatives, research and distant cousins.
