I think this is the news trying something. It was a chine leader who stated in the past the Korea was a part of China. This is historically true but that was over a thousand years ago. I think South Korea has been its own sovereign nation for quite a while now.

Yeah, it may be the news. It may also be President Trump saying something he shouldn't be saying. First, he shouldn't mention anything about the private conversations he had with the leader of China. Second, he needs to learn that other countries have things that could set them off. Just like some things set him off. He needs to stay clear of those things.

This alliance is very important for both our nations, but much more so for South Korea. We have strong economic and military ties, loosening them would leave SK vulnerable to a nuclear strike from the crazy man to the north. It could also hurt economic ties that back sixty years. Bad for us but potentially devastating to SK.
