Elizabeth Short, also known as the Black Dahlia, was murdered and exposed in the most terrible way. Over 500 people have confessed to this murder but the police believe none of them. There are obviously points about this case that were not revealed by the so called confessed murderers. Her body was found on 15 January 1947 in Leimert Park, Los Angeles, severely mutilated and cut in half. Her face was slashed from the corners of her mouth toward her ears to form a gruesome smile.
