MEXICAN POLICE CHIEF KILLED HOURS AFTER TAKING JOB
The only person to apply for the post of police chief in the violent Mexican border city of Nuevo Laredo was shot and killed seven hours after taking the job.

Mexico Chief Police
This is one of those things that you almost have to laugh at. I know its absolutely horrible that someone gets killed at all, especially when trying to take a job to protect his people. But he pretty much became an example as to why no one wanted his job. Nuevo Laredo is one of the most violent towns in Mexico. Its a border town which means it is far from the reach of the Mexican government, its kind of like a modern day tombstone.
