Lightning Chess

Lightning Chess

Are you effective playing Lightning Chess just as much as when there is no clock? Do you find Lightning Chess develops skill or observation more?

That is a clear and resounding NO. I hate playing with a clock. I get flustered, I start rushing and then I proceed to embarass myself and I lose every time. I love chess and it is a great game, but I just can't play any kind of timed chess.
