Baby Monitor Picks Up Noises

NOTE: This original Topic was started by Clara but was deleted accidentally due to a spammer. I am just reporting what was said:

Clara:
Have you ever listened to one of those baby monitors and heard a baby crying or heard some other strange noise and when you went to check the room the baby was asleep and nothing moved in the room. The windows are closed and no wind is blowing, real creepy.

GothicNature: It hasnt happened to me, but what I can say is that sometimes ghosts can use the radio waves to communicate.

JB: That would really make my neck hair stand up. Logically I would think that the monitor was probably picking up the signal of another nearby baby monitor.

Geenie: Yes I am in full agreement with JB's explanation. I remember a friend of mine, confided in me about hearing muffled sounds like children laughing and adults talking. She was too afraid to voice her discovery to her husband. About two months later, she told another friend and the person asked if anyone else in the neighbourhood had a baby monitor. She investigated and learned about 7 other mothers had baby monitors. Her friend explained that apparently, her baby monitor was picking up signals from the other monitors. You could imagine how relieved my friend was. Poor girl! She honestly thought that ghosts were trying to possess her baby!

Noises Picks Monitor Baby

I remember when we used a baby monitor. Lucky for me I heard no noises in the monitor besides my childrens noises. I am one who believes in ghosts but I have yet to see one. I know my wife can sense them if they are close.

I had a similar thing happen to me, when me and my brothers were younger kids we used to have an old tape recorder and record us pretending we were on the radio or we used to put accents on and make jokes.

Well one day we left it on in our bedroom and went outside and when we came back we tried to record something but it was at the end of the tape, so we reround it back to the start and for some reason decided we would play a bit of the recording to see if anyone had came into our room, then after about 5 minutes there was a very faint voice of a female. After turning the volume all the way up we all had different opinions on what it actually said, to me it sounded like a old woman saying "Get back into bed"

Only our dad was in the house at the time (we never told our mum just incase wink.gif) but he was downstairs and it would be unusual for him to enter our room as he knew we were outside.

As we were kids we thought little of it at the time, but then a few years later we watched the Sixth Sense, where Bruce Willis leaves a recorder on and hears a ghost and we all freaked out.

I have experienced a similar effect.
I can happen through the speakers of your PC!
I heard an older person speak Welsh through my computer speakers when they had not connection to the internet or any sound making program.
But there could be an explanation - we sometimes can hear emergency service radio messages through our PC speakers as well, we heard our local fire service's radio when an engine was close once.

Name: Klace

Comments: Radio signals are as pure as ghost material therefore its easy for the two to pick up on one another.
