What exactly is a "Past Life Specialist"?

As someone interested in the paranormal, I have never come across this term. I presume it's someone, perhaps a "psychic", that claims to help you discover your past life - I've found the most common examples are the Medium route, where they tell you about your past lives, reincarnation, etc. The other is hypnosis, which I've had done, though I wasn't under very deep - still, I got some results. But me and my friends also then practiced the same thing on each other and got results, so I don't think this aspect is particularly difficult. In closing, I don't think a "past life specialist" has anything valid to bring to the table - the human imagination and desire to please is what is at work.

I beleive in past lives, however if such a specialist exists, there are probably 5,000 fakes for every 1 person who has this ability. Also I wonder how many of those few would actually embrace such an ability. Ushually those with gifts like this keep it secret.

Comments: It's just another title for someone who interprets current life experiences as things that happened in past lives. Of course you'll need to believe in reincarnation before you can believe someone has this gift.
