The Root of all religion is Paganism!
Most tribes of the World had a Polytheisic belief system, there is evidence that the Tribes of Israel worshiped many gods in the Old Testament.
Almost all Christian festivals are based on the Pagan calender and many of their Saints were originally Pagan gods and goddesses.
Jesus' birthday (Christmas) is only at this date because of the new sun being born at Yule.
To ask if the root of Albainia's religion is Pagan is like asking if the Christ Spirit was the sacrificial god of all Pagan worship. And the answer is yes.
