Poor Grades Leads To Suicide?
ERDENHEIM, Pa. - After pledging to improve his falling grades, Shane Halligan ate breakfast with his family, went off to school, and took his own life. The 11th-grader was an Eagle scout and volunteer firefighter who planned a career in the military. But the poor grades he brought home on his report card Monday led his parents to warn him to focus on school.

This really brought me to tears, and if the teenager didn't talk to anybody, nobody had any means of helping him.
Sadly, too many young people take their lives through bad grades, feeling that they have let family down, and because life seems to be so difficult.
My heart goes out to his family, who at what should be a festive time, are suffering with terrible grief, and who will probably grieve for the rest of their lives.
