Out of Character: Krusten: What is not lacking here is trees: thick woods surround the small clearance in which the workers made their camp. On which side do you want to climb (east, west, north or south)?
"Wells, that was not so toughs," Ferrin says while dusting off his pants. "Like climbings the riggings on a ships!" He smiles widely at the two with pride swelling his tiny chest. "Now where to's? I's will goes where youse goes. Youse were goings somewheres, rights?"
Out of Character: Thank you, Bruconero! That was much appreciated. I suppose I could have just posted up 10 rolls at once and let you use however many you needed, but I have a feeling that your way worked out better, anyway.
Mina stands stunned for some time after Krustin easily slew Albert without any consideration for a plan of some sort.
She looks around at her travel companions, seriously wondering who they all really were.
As Krustin goes to the trees again, Mina finds her voice, "It might of been useful to keep that blighter alive. Either as a bargaining chip with the coming 'soldiers', or to bring to Goatshearer for justice."
She adds, "Perhaps, we should have someone scout out to find these 'soldiers' and take stock of them? The rest of the group might want to leave this area of conflict?"
In Character: Krusten, ignoring any of the preaching types, will go which ever way that is opposite to where Albert seemed to indicate the soldiers are coming from. If he didn't she will listen carefully and then go to the opposite direction so she doesn't end up bumping into anyone.
Jeaal recovers the lost gear and returns it Anntreen. He laughs with Ferrin, "I'm not sure, exactly. I saw smoke a while ago, over that way." He waves vaguely towards the smoke. "I think that should be our goal. We need to go now, though, there are boars around."
Jeaal keeps his bow ready to attack.
"Looks like we have our preaching work cut out for us" he says quietly to Mina.
To everyone he says, "I have an idea. Let us infiltrate this army. Surrender our weapons to one person and have them travel back to the ranch to report and if the others see sense, meet up with them." He looks to Mina, suggesting she would look out of place. "This way we can find out everything. There may be a conflict with my vows, however."
After a moment's thought he continues, "'lest I cut out my own tongue."
Carnosus was busy looting the body of the newest dead man, he heard Tomas' suggestion and looked at him. "Mind if I go to the ranch? Just point me in the right direction and tell me who to talk to when I get there, I can't stand the idea of handing over my weapon so I would rather not go infiltrating that crazy army, I promise you can trust me! Let me prove myself to the group!" The young ranger then goes back to what he was doing while he waits for an answer
AT THE CAMP
Krusten listens carefully and, judging that the sound is coming from somewhere north or west from her position (not clear for her), she climbs on a tall tree on the east side of the improvised camp. From the top of the tree she keeps watch, ready to alert the group if somebody comes into her sight.
Out of Character: Carmana: You should tell me what you want to take from the loot that I described. Also, it would be extremely useful if you updated your inventory slot so the other players can know what you are carrying.
Oinodaemon: You don't see any smoke anymore but you remember seeing it to the east. I need to know if you proceed along the ditch or enter the grove. You can recover also your arrow since it was attached to the rope.
