Anntreen before the group sets out prayed over the grave.
She also checks on the kids before they start off down the road after patching everyone up, having used all 3 of her Cure light woulds spells for the day.
Now on the road helps take up the load of pulling the cart from the front, assisting the commoner.
In answer to Anntreen's earlier question, he answers, "I's goings to Loyas. I heards the Earl needs Adventuers!" He flourishes his arms again in a dramatic fashion. "I be's happy to go alongs with yous as long as yous be on the side of Justice!"
Ferrin isn't much use in helping with anything physical, so he goes about talking to folks, hearing the story of where the children came from and how these adventuresome folk seem to be suddenly pouring out of the woods. At one point, he stops abruptly as though he just remembered something: his pack. He quickly goes over to it and works to tie everything down nicely, rather than the haphazrd mess it was before. Once that is settled, he straps it on his back with a big grin and positions himself alongside the cart, just trying to keep up with his long-legged new companions.
Out of Character: He'll stay to the middle, both in the open and in dungeons. His first turn in combat will almost always start with dropping his pack and then a spell. He doesn't pay much attention to the road or any other surroundings except to see where his next step is landing.
When the leader suggests saying the dead man got lost in the woods, Tomas threateningly interjects. "Tell them what really happened. False hope is evil by another face."
After Ferrin speaks he says, "You speak of justice, yet you move a bit like a trickster. So long as your intent is pure, I'd be happy to let you into our company. But, what skills do you bring?" Tomas asks.
"Oh, yes, yes. The Justice of the peoples! None of this brigands nonsense I heards about. What skills have I, he asks? I knows magicks!" He pulls a pinch of glowing moss from his pouch and says a few words while holding the moss to his staff. The moss seems to melt into the plain wood and the whole thing begins to glow as brightly as a torch.
Anntreen watches and smiles from her position helping to drag the broken cart down the road is a lot harder then she thought it would be, but together this band of misfits is slowly forming a well rounded group.
She had decided only a moons phase ago that in her pilgrimage she wanted a more hands on application of her skills and task of learning of the world.
The other option [which] she had already decided to decline, was to take up an apprenticeship as an [acolyte] in a temple and be book schooled till her training was complete.
She supposed it mush be the draw of the unknown and the randomness of life that helped saw her choice to attempt to find a group to adventure with.
Anntreen just smiles harder, holding a bit of glee from forming a giggle as she observes her new traveling companions. It might even be said the look on her face was that of contentment or one seen on someone whom has just finally found there place in life.
"There's wisdom in your words, Brother Tomas", says the peasant's leader breaking a long silence. "I'll say the truth, like You suggested". After talking, he concentrates again on his task, pushing the cart with a serious expression. He looks tired, severely proven by the recent events and the loss of his companions. The surrounding landscape is gradually changing: the vegetation becomes more sparse at every mile, until it opens in a vast prairie. Packs of wild horses can be seen roaming in the plain, jumping and running under the fading sun. The Cat is already starting to be visible in the now clear sky, when the party meets a small crossing road winding to the north. "Is late but our destination is near", says the leader using one of his shirt's sleeves to clean the sweat from his forehead. "We will proceed. What are your plans, adventurers?". Jonathan notices light tracks on the wet surface of the narrow sideroad.
Krusten, happy that she does not have to worry about anything coming from the woods anymore, does not say anything instead only waiting to see what the others decide and then silently following while still looking around for anything suspicious.
