"Aye, it's Magicks, not Prayers. That's why. You'll sees more if any brigands show their faces." He looks left and right menacingly at the sides of the road to as though ready to fight off encroaching enemies, then stands right up as tall as he can with a grin from ear to ear.
"I knows not abouts them, but I's coming alongs to helps. I keeps watch for dangers so we's can press on!" In moving forward, he will keep an eye out for a few minutes (5-10), but his mind will soon wander away as he admires the beauty of the rolling plains of grass and the way the wind blows over them like a sea of green waves while the horses play reminds him of a pod of dolphins. "I'm not stopping anyone from following me", Jon replied, "But someone should follow that trail before it disappears. I'll be careful." Jon starts following the path, keeping off the tracks and keeping vigilant of danger. Edited: FoxRogue on 17th Dec, 2012 - 9:23pm
Ferrin rushes over to stare at the ground where the tracks go off. He's in such a rush to do so, he practically jumps over the cart.
"Oooh...what kinds of tracks sees you? Dogs tracks? Horses tracks? Wagons tracks? Brigands tracks? I bets they be brigands tracks. Yup, yup. I cans go withs to watch your backs. I's not much helps here and they be's almost homes."
He raises his hand in the air triumphantly and marches a few steps onto the dirt trail. "For Justices!" He shouts, then turns back to Jon "You's comings or whats?"
"I'll go with Jon," Tomas replies. "The fields are open so you should see any danger before you reach the city. You can start the investigation into the marquis and update us when we get there."
Tomas follows Jon in the standard single file order.
Jonathan examines the tracks thinking that it would not be so difficult to follow them. Few yards after the side trail parts from the stone-paved Southern Road, they become more visible. The ranger can see footprints, almost certainly boots, and wheel-tracks, at least two vehicles. They appear to be one day old, not more. The light rain of the past hours has not been enough to wipe them out but Jonathan believes the tracks were left on dry soil anyway. Out of character: Is somebody staying? What about the commoners and the children? The side-road is large enough for any marching formation. The sun is setting already and will be dark in less than an hour.
Anntreen takes a deep calming breath yet is still smiling.
She watches the boys run off to fallow tracks while she stays with the cart and kids and commoners still traveling down the road. She wonders what the other woman here will do as she has yet to make any clarifying indication to suggest she is staying or going a long with the boys on there scouting exasperation.
Anntreen had thought with the sight of wild horses some one whom might be good at handling an animal would try to tame/catch one, to help pull the cart or to offer a faster form of travel.
Anntreen takes another deep breath, her face seeming to show her state of deep thought.
She looks over at Krusten. "Staying or Going?" She looks over at the kids then back at Krusten. "I think I will keep walking with the cart, are cargo is to presses to be left untended. To bad one of them could not of decided to go catch us a horse to help pull..." Edited: KittenPunk on 18th Dec, 2012 - 2:14am
