AT THE INN

Butch leans forward to be able to speak to Mina without being heard. "His shipment went missing and he is waiting for news about it. He entrusted the job to one of your friends if I don't get wrong. But I doubt he will wait much longer. He already announced that will be leaving tomorrow morning with or without his goods".

NEAR THE RANCH

Krusten gets closer but is still impossible for her to understand what is being judged so important by the other girl. Abigail answers to Krusten's reminder with an annoyed gesture and starts to follow an invisible track between the vegetation. She either came upon something important or is trying to avoid Krusten's direct questions.

IN THE GROVE

Tomas and Carnosus venture into the woods to see what is inside. A huge boar is searching the dry leaves that cover the ground for food. The beast is aware of you but keeps moving the leaves while checking on your movements. Carnosus realizes is a female. It should not attack if you keep your distance, unless she has her cubs nearby.
MaryJaen hears now the sounds coming from the woods but she can't see anything from her position.

Carnosus returns his bow and arrow, he then places a hand on Tomas' shoulder. "Stop, she won't hurt us if we leave her alone, just ignore her and she will ignore us, besides, she may have young ones back at her home. I couldn't stand the idea of killing a mother, even a boar."

Tomas breathes out, his tension relieved. He lowers his shield and backs out slowly, keeping eyes on the boar. When back at the carts, he whispers harshly, "Just a large sow looking for food." He gives the signal with his arm to move forward and grabs a cart handle with his one good hand.

Tired of this nonsense, Krusten uses her intimidation to tell her to stand up and start moving towards the mansion otherwise it will be "One of us remaining in the forest today."

IN THE GROVE

The group decides not to disturb the boar and gets back on the track. Pushing the loaded carts makes the trip back more difficult. You get back to the Ranch that is lunchtime already. On the back side, next to the small graveyard, a long and deep hole has been dug during your absence. A quick ceremony is held for the common burial and the hole filled with dirt again. A pile of stones will remember the place in which nameless citizens of Bumi have been put to rest.
After the rite, the stablemaster approaches Tomas to inform him that the courier is ready to leave and inviting him to pass by the stables. Zak also approaches the paladin and reminds him of the loaded cart still waiting behind the common house.

IN THE WOODS

Abigail looks at Krusten with a puzzled expression. "Being still alive is not enough for you?", she asks slightly bending her head to the right. "If you want a fight, you will have it. But not before I checked what is going on here. You are free to go back licking my father's boots in the meanwhile if it pleases you". This said, she approaches another dead deer and starts examining its carcass, focusing her attention on the beast's neck.

Krusten thinks that such defiance can only be answered by one thing: blood, however this is the daughter of the same person that hired her. She wonders only for a second about what to do and then with whatever stealth she has and while Abigail's back is to her... She takes out her blanket and throws it over Abigail's head and then attempts to whack her unconscious to carry her back to the mansion. If not she will fight but she will not back down or play any further games.
