Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 A Crone, A Marquis & Missing Medallion RPG - Page 27

Mina stares for a moment at the other womans obvious side stepping of the conversation. She thinks to herself that it must be a hard thing for this woman to discuss, she must of been hurt in the past by someone close to her. She watches the woman continue to eat, trying to keep her mouth full of food so she does not have to speak. Mina tries to discern what this woman is about, truly. Then she simply asks, "How can you speak of this all powerful triumvirate when we do not even know each others names?"

Krusten laughs loudly allowing some of her grub to fall over her chin and on to the table. She wipes herself and then says,

"Names, what is so important about names? They are just something we call each other but hardly represents who we are. For all you know some people may refer to me as... Goddess."

She slurps down some cider and lets out a belch,

"Ah that was good."

She composes herself.

"Krusten, that's my name... And what do they call you... I hope it isn't something over religious where Anntreen may be tempted to give a sermon over it?"

"Pity the thought." Anntreen says in jest as she returns to her set.

Looking in the new girls direction.
"My name is Anntreen you must really take a lot of what Krusten says with a grain of salt, I haven't known her long but from what I can tell she thinks most highly of her self."

Looking in Krusten's direction.
"And, Krusten it is not a good joke ever to makes a claim of godhood, or even a jest that you should be referenced as such."

Then looking back at the new girl. "I am a cleric of Eger, I am trained in the craft of spell canting most of all Healing. But a-lass I am down to my last spell for the night and we where considering sleeping here for the night before hopefully meeting back up with the rest of are group."

The boys that where traveling with us went to investigate some trails just outside of town, I fear they will still be many more hours before getting in to town and with the pick up in the rain outside I hope they make hast before the weathere gets worse.

Looking back at Krusten "I meant what I said before in the morning I want to go check on the kids at the ranch, then start the investigation in to there missing fathers, last thing I am going to do is brake both are words to those 3 pores starving kids about helping them find there family." she looks long at Krusten. "Be sides you told the caravan leader you would- and didn't he save your life? You would hate to brake a word such as that."

Out of Character: To the guys checking the tracks: the last action you gave me was following the plan of a player that is not posting. Since I don't know what FoxRogue was up to, you have two choices. You can either wait for him to disclose his intentions or you can post new actions so I can move the game for you also. Now is Christmas (my best wishes and a warm hug to all of you) and I'm being very patient. But the rule here is like this: unless I've been notified in advance, more than 2 days not posting will earn the player a penalty, after a week the player will be out of the game. And no coming back. I would be penalising the people that want to play if I acted otherwise.

Out of character: I was at my grandparents until last night. I got short notice on the visit.

Jon starts towards the grove as quietly as possible, ignoring his companions.

"Well met Krusten, and Anntreen, I am Mina Redfang. I do not know, nor care whether my name is religious or not, nor overly. It is my name, that is all that matters.

Mina looks to Anntreen, "Now who are these boys and what's up with kids?"

Anntreen takes a grate amount of time telling the story of bumping in to the damaged caravan, and the kids in the night, there travels back to the town, the loss of life, the wild dogs, and the kids and there missing fathers, she goes on in detail how they where in such pore shape, and how the caravan leader took them to the ranch with him.

She also states that the boys they where with, a paladin, a ranger, and a nimble halfling sorcerer, went off fallowing some footprints and wagon tails before they where lost in the mud with hopes of perhaps finding the thieves that stole the caravans 2 wags that where absconded with before she had joined the group- according to the caravan leader. She also goes on to say that tomorrow they planned to inquire around town in attempts to gather information about the dads of the kids.

She manages to hold the conversation on this topic for a long enough period of time that Krusten could finish eating and the man in the chair might sober up a bit.

Anntreen spares no detail in the recounting of the tail, and while engaging Mina in conversation she keeps a eye on the man in the chair while attempting to make her gaze intermittent enough to seem simply concerned and not so mindfully watching as her intent truly is.

Out of character: looks like [the] game is on, again! Welcome back, FoxRogue. You were missed!

In-character: Ferrin sees Jon run off toward the stand of trees and looks after him a bit amazed and befuddled. He turns to the Paladin, "Dids he not hears us?!? Maybes we shoulds just lets him gets attacked on his owns in the darks...then we jumps out of the shadows and saves him!" During his description, he pantomimes sneaking about and then leaping on unsuspecting ruffians in his typically dramatic fashion.
