At the inn:
"No, nothing so dangerous, unless you venture alone on the road and out of the village. Is just that farmers live quite a retired life. They seem interested only in their personal agenda, with little space for social moments. Apart from the market day, that is today. They all gather in the large area west of the emporium to trade their goods. This is why I'm here: selling my goods at the market. But my shipment didn't arrive yet, for some reason, and I'm stuck waiting and losing money....". Mr Murno looks deeply worried about his shipment's whereabouts. "The food, the food you said", he adds. Then lowering his voice, not to be heard by the innkeeper: "Decent, but nothing special. Standard grub to fill your stomach".
The children pocket the gold coins promising that they will store them for the times of need. Chuck's hand shakes when he receives this small fortune from Anntreen. Fearing that you are preparing to leave, they beg you: "Brother Tomas, Lady Anntreen, why you, Lady Krusten and the rest of your group don't stay with us for lunch? It would be nice to stay with you a little bit more". "I want to sit next to the big man", cries Ivy getting closer to Faruq. "And I want to sit with the dwarf", decides Doug, immediately interrupted by his brother Chuck: "He is an Allpling, stupid, not a dwarf".
"I can not speak for the others, but I [plan] to take up the kind invitation of lunch offered by the owner of this fair ranch. And boys, this is not a [goodbye], but I can never tell how long a journey will take before it takes me back to places I already know. As long as it is with in my power I will visit you 3 often, though it might not seem this way to you at the time."
Mina looks to Faruq, and tells him, "Looks like you've got an admirer, sir." Mina then goes over to Anntreen, " I do not think any of us would turn down a meal. By the way, what went on when you three went off? Anything new?"
Smiling Anntreen replays. "We can talk about it in great detail over lunch. Tomas did most of the talking. And,Krusten seems to have made a friendship with the lovely daughter of the land owner."
Her face then looking a bit disappointed for a moment as she bites a lip, then forces a smile to mask it. "I probably should of corrected him, oh" well. I did not want to be rude or impolite" she mumbles mostly to herself.
"Murno what do you think is causing the delay? And if you don't mind me pressing what type of goods are you selling? And is there anything I can do to help?"
Ja"lron looks for a bartender or serving lady to ask about the menu. Keeping a keen eye on Murno's body language
Anntreen gives a genuine smile and makes herself ready for them to move a long. It was beginning to become clear to the group, while she puts on a happy face, this doesn't mean it is how she is really feeling.
