Krusten will start saying, "Abigail... Abigail..." as though she is looking for her. When she sees the servant make eye contact with her she will ask her if she has seen Abigail. She will use her charisma to lead the conversation into asking if she needs a hand so she can inquire about Abigail to find out what the servant knows.
Mina listens to the woman noticing her voice rising higher with something that sounds to her of either mockery, stress or fright. As Abigail continues on into her diatribe, and then cuts their meeting before it truly starts, Mina is perturbed. Abigail puts out her hand to in a gesture of farewell, and Mina goes to shake too, but when they do she holds on and whispers, "Hello, my name is Mina Redfang, and this fine gentleman on my left," she nods to her hawk, "Is Den. I am a druid from Uur, hence the sun soaked clothing. I sleep where I may, be it in a bed of soft cotton or a pile of dried leaves. I am with the group you have met, and things happening around here do interest me." Mina stops for a moment to listen for any noises out side the room they are in. After a moment she continues, "You seem to be nervous about something. I cannot tell if you are playing some game or if you are frightened of someone. If you do not be truthful and tell me, my companions and I cannot help you. What are you about?"
(Out of Character: Noting my actions, I'm guessing if you'll need these: Grapple check(to hold onto Abigail) 14+2=16, Listen check (when Mina pauses to listen) 6+7=13)((Also I'll be able to post at least once a day, hopefully more)) Edited: Stefflabunny on 16th Jan, 2013 - 3:54am
Krusten:
The servant jumps hearing the unexpected voice calling her mistress' name from inside the very room. She turns and stays silent for a moment, looking at krusten while still holding a large plate in her hands. "Who are you and what are you doing here?", she asks finally. "You will never find Miss Abigail in this part of the house. Look for her in her rooms or ask somebody in the main hall. Now, please leave. I'm busy and I don't want trouble".
Mina Redfang:
As you shake Abigail's hand you feel something in it. The young woman tries to pass you a small object and then retreat her hand but you hold on it as you speak. Finally, the merchant's daughter is able to get loose of your grasp just while Anntreen and a house servant pass by the narrow gallery outside the rooms. The servant whispers something in Abigail's ear, you can only make out the words "Father" and "Talk", then he leaves leading the elven cleric downstairs. Abigail hurriedly walks down the gallery in the opposite direction saying only one word before leaving: "Inn".
Out of Character:: Being new Ja"laron decides to head to the stables. And find out the entire process from there back on how the shipments go out. Who knows the route, how far out they know of the route. Who knows what is going to be on the shipment. And backwards plan from when they depart to who tells them what is loaded.
In Character:: Ja"laron heads to the stables where the shipments are loaded. To ask the wagoner's about the process.
Ja"laron comes as friendly as if learning about the process not investigating so much.
Out of Character:: Gather Info Roll 16+4=20
Jalaron attempts to gather all this data. Informing the helpers that we will go out and help recover the bodies of their friends. It is the decent thing to do.
Thinking to himself this should give him some time to inspect the area without drawing to much attention.
"What trouble could I be? Abigail has been asking me to go here and there and I don't understand... Can you explain it to me?" She says this while picking up a dish to help her wash. Again Krusten uses her charisma to twists the answer out of her.
The servant looks extremely surprised by Krusten's behaviour. "What are you doing Milady? That's my job.... You are one of the strangers, right? You are not supposed to be here....and....". The woman looks confused. Krusten notices that the servant keeps looking to both the entrances, maybe scared that somebody could see her in that embarassing situation. Still confused, she starts crying: "Please, please, I will lose my job if somebody sees you. Have pity of me, I have four children....". Her voice is broken, the woman bursts into tears and falls on her knees. With both hands on the floor, she begs you: 'Please, please... Miss Abigail is not here, not here....".
