Dude you joined like a couple weeks ago so no need to even think about being discouraged. You are like totally organized so far and that's a plus. I don't know about the players you're inviting though, they're people you actually know? They don't seem as committed but it takes time. Once you get your threads all highlighted by JB it will really take off.
Yea, they were friends of mine from high school, and we've been pretty much estranged for several years. Kboxrox is more or less out of my game at this point. Zed and I have a unique internet situation,so he has an excuse. I live close enough to our work place to get free internet from it, he doesn't, so he can only post at work or at my house.
Please confirm / do the following:
1. Describe for me a scene or an image that best describes your game. I will use it to add Icons to your Threads to make it unique.
2. Is your game truly Dungeons & Dragons or should I label it as a Dungeons & Dragons Variant?
3. Once I make your Threads standard to your game do not change them or open new Threads for new games. All your Campaigns and Scenarios are to be conducted in the same Threads.
1. A very large, ominous temple. Ornate double doors, with a party looking at a map or something similar. One of the doors is slightly ajar, but only darkness is visible inside.
2. Definitely a Variant.
3. No problem, man. Sounds great.
Your RPG Threads now have the images, descriptions and links so Players do not become lost. You also have your own field in the Member CP so they can input their character stats / equipment. For avatars Players will need to select "Oinodaemon" so that their chosen Avatar appears in your game Threads. You also have GMaster status thus giving you all the tools you need for a successful Dungeons & Dragons variant RPG. Good luck.
Update: Please do choose a GM Avatar, give your Posts some 'character'.
Dude I was just glancing at your game and like no one has any of their equipment fields filled in, you're like running a ghost campaign? Cool layout though.
In seconding what Play by Post said earlier - I've added code as an 'incentive' for players to 'fix it' by adding their Character stats and Avatar. When they do so the 'nags' are automatically removed.
