CHINA FINALLY DECIDES TO GO GLOBAL

Never heard of Sanjiu? Bluestar? Baosteel? Minmetals? You soon might. These Chinese companies aren't yet in the pantheon of globally known names like Sony, Daimler-Chrysler or Citigroup, but China Inc. Is fast raising its international profile with a corporate buying spree, spending billions on companies and resources to feed its growing industrial juggernaut.

Global - China

In Trinidad we are already feeling the effects of the Chinese electronic invasion and it is good in some ways. For one it brought down the prices of the name brand electronics, but on the other hand the resale value of most electronic goods is very low. I guess from a business angle it is a terrible thing, but for consumers it is a welcomed break.
