What does your religious beliefs dictate with regards to the dead - should they be cremated or buried?

Burial Vs Cremation

Well, I was raised protestant, mostly Lutheran, but when my folks moved, we would attend a Methodist church if there was no Lutheran one in town, and they had no specific taboos as far as that is concerned. As I got older, I had many questions about mine and others faiths, and that led me to my beliefs today, and they correspond with that of the Unitarian Universalist Church, which is an 'all faith' church.

When I die, I want my organs donated, and then I want to be cremated, and my ashes scattered in the ocean. I will have a 'memorial marker' for family members/loved ones to gather if they wish to do so on ocassion courtesy of the Veterans Administration, and that is the only part I am unsure about is whether or not to have it in a Veterans Cemetary or not.

My Church (LDS) believes we should be buried, specially those members who have been in the Temple. If we are cremated, we would not be able to wear our sacred clothing.
