What is the matter with Jimmy Carter? Is he a natural hater of Bush or is it Republican's in General?

QUOTE

George W. Bush - The Next Move History & Civil Business Politics

Jimmy Carter just wants ANYONE else to go down in history as the "worst President ever." He currently holds that prestigious title, and there are no contenders on the horizon.

Of course, as a dyed-in-the-wool far Left Liberal, he absolutely hates Republicans, especially conservative religious ones.

I don't think I can agree more. Everytime his presidency is commented on, the phrase "totally ineffectual" usually rears its face somewhere in the paragraph. The economy reached a near standstill under his administration and there were prisoners taken in Iran that his administration was unable to secure freedom. Being alive and being reminded about how insignificant your efforts were must be pretty depressing and time doesn't appear to be lessening the tone of the critics for ex-president Carter like it seemed to for Nixon.

Truly, I do think his bitterness started when Clinton was elected to office and his administration didn't really reach out to the ex-president for support like he thought they should. He wasn't used much in an Executive Embassador's role that so many other ex-presidents have found themselves in and that is because Clinton didn't want any of that Carter stain to get into his administration. Smart move Bill. Clinton actually used Nixon in some situations over Carter. OUCH! Carter's repeated antisemtic laced or toned remarks and writings definitely hasn't endeared him to the masses.

Honestly, he really needs to just stay out of the spotlight. If GWB ends up being the worst president of modern times, then let him claim his prize. It really looks ironic for Carter to be trying to hand him the trophy as though it is too hot for him to handle.

If Pres. Bush were to enter court then that will certainly be a field day for the media, but the question is if he will reach there.

QUOTE
NEWS ANALYSIS: CONGRESS, BUSH COULD BE HEADED TO COURT

In an escalating conflict between Congress and President Bush over the privileges and prerogatives of the presidency, the two sides could be headed for a court battle that outlasts Bush's term in office, pushing the outcome of any congressional investigation over the firings of federal prosecutors into the next administration.
