Vehicles Recalled

I recently received a recall notice on my 2002 Ford Explorer which stated that the hatch in the back (just the window not the entire hatch) was faulty and could close on its own. However since the dealer has not contacted me yet about the availability of the replacement part, the workaround is not to use the window hatch, instead open the entire back hatch when getting items out of the back.
Almost every car I have owned has had a recall of some sort; most of them minor.
