One of the main deserts that you may encounter in Bulgaria is the Kiselo Mlyako, a well known yogurt that is one of the nation's best, it's commonly eaten with fruits since it's very pure. The bacteria involved is called the "Lactobacillus bulgaricus", discovered by the Russian scientist Metchnikoff.
