I've read on many occasions, that when a person writes on a lined page...and does it so that the words dont actually TOUCH the lines...it depicts vanity.
When you think about it...it makes alot of sense. It's as if you dont want your words or your penmanship to be hampered or infringed upon by lines...as if you want them to stand out......well that part is MY theory..but I dont really know the reason for the analysis.
I myself have my on and off days. I remember in high school...depending on who I spent the most time with...or used to study with...I always ended up writing just like them. I think there might be some psychological explanation for that kinda behaviour..hahaha Edited: cookie on 9th Mar, 2005 - 4:25am

call those handwrittings "Doctor's handwritting", did you ever observe how doctors write? |
I write in a hurry. I write half cursive and half print. My english Lit teacher used to say it was quite possibly the best poetry she had every read, in the worst writing she had ever seen. She even wrote a poem about bad writing in one of her magazine articles. No one knows she is talking about me. I didn't know until she sent me a copy with it circled!
Teachers have tried to correct my horrible writing for years. Once computers where invented and used in schools, I was the first to sign up. Then came the spelling problem....
Well according to the website on handwriting, I am a meticulous person with a keen sense of observation. It also states that I have will power and determination. Yes I agree with all of this. It certainly sounds like me! As for my handwriting, it is very good except whenever I am in a hurry. If I am pressed for time, my handwriting looks as though the letters are ready to "run" off the page!
I think that my handwriting isn't too bad, and is easily legible.
It's not the nicest that I've seen, but definitely does the job!
I am left handed, and my hand writing has had to be practiced from being younger with a left handed nib, but nowadays I don't need to do this, just use an ordinary biro.
