Onika Bostic died today at the POS General Hospital after battling for a week because of a serious car crash she was in. Onika was a vibrant Soca singer and former radio announcer.

The name does not ring a bell for me. She must have come onto the scene after I had left Trinidad in 1994. Seems like she was very young. It is always very sad to see someone so talented pass away, especially when they are very young.
