Pedophiles are reported to the police and excommunicated if they have abused children. They are not allowed to ever hold callings involving kids or youth.

I would like to add that this includes Bishops, and any other church leader. They would be excommunicated from the church, and also be reported to the police.

This is why you keep your children supervised at all times and yes, this includes particularly restrooms in Churches. I'm not saying the parents were neglectful at all, after all any child should be able to go to the bathroom in a Church without fearing that a sicko is somewhere taking pictures.

Having said, I read a couple of comments stating that the man's wife and Bishop knew he had a problem.
