Why are people silent as old hatreds rise again?

Old hatreds are once again rearing their ugly head - the new Nazi movement is actually making a comeback. But it's not popping up here in America - it's actually beginning to form in EGYPT. As more and more chants of 'kill the Jews' happen across the Middle East, it becomes more and more shocking that no one is standing up to it. Worse than that, hatred for Jews in the Middle East is being completely disregarded. Why is this being ignored? Ref. Source 7

Anti-Semitism Wave A

Given that there are about 17 million Jews worldwide out of a population of 6 Billion it is difficult to find the reason as to why some governments take this anti- semitic view. The Jews are an insignificant pin-goof percentage of the population in most countries with only about 5 million outside US and Israel.

My guess is some countries are using the Jews as a scape-goat for whatever economic, social or political problems they can't solve. What other reason could it be?

I don't think it is the Jewish people that causes people to be anti but the concepts of Zionism is what they fear just as they fear Islamist and their jihads.

People are afraid of what they don't know much about and the Jews have been blamed for centuries about a whole bunch of stuff, people in general don't like them for no apparent reason.
