[medieval] The Rescue - Page 4

The Game Master says...

There is less light now and all that is guiding your sight is the light from one moon. You look in all four directions and see that it is just open plain. The nearest woods are back to the North and as far as you can see there is not even anything to build a fire on the barren ground. It seems that anything near Death's Mouth really dies including the grass.

GM: Say what you will do now.

Rescue medieval

The Game Master says...

Above all odds and against the betterment of experience you decide to camp in the open plains about one mile away from Death's Mouth. The ground is hard and having little in the way of comfort you know your rest will be very difficult. You grumble amongst yourselves trying to decide how to position yourselves and how to keep the horses from wondering off. It is very difficult to see. You desire something hot to eat. Howls from wolves can be heard in the distance, in fact they seem rather intense.

GM: Note the story above and say what you will do now. It is 7:00pm

[medieval] The Rescue RPG PBP Medieval World

The Game Master says...

Your fear or your gut is telling you that it is not wise to be in the open, so you retreat to the North which has the nearest wooded area as far as you can remember. On your way back you can see the eyes of wolves following your scent from a distance, but they are not coming within close range - most likely because of your large number and the fact that some of you are mounted. After awhile they seem to loose interest and you reach a forest where a camp is made.

You make good on your rations. During the night you struggle to remain awake. Some of you that were supposed to watch find yourselves doing badly at it as you doze off now and again. By the time the sun shows its' light in the East you are very much groggy and irritable. Some of you who are less than wise begin to complain and assist on better food such as deer or rabbit and yet others murmur about not having taken a bath in days.

GM: Say what you will do now keeping in mind the feelings of certain party members.

The Game Master says...

Typical Camp Life...

Mud and Malice have long been at odds with each other and today is no different save for one thing... Mud catches Malice making a smart remark about him to Kron - Kron laughs and Malice smiles with a wicked grin, but Mud does not see what is so funny as he lunges forward and swings his fist into the left cheek of Malice in such a way that Malice is lifted off his feet and thrown to the ground. Of course Malice sees no grace in being on the ground and a fight ensues.

Meanwhile all the women are fidgeting over matters of men and how they are always being treated as second rate in the Village. they swear things that would make a man cry if he could hear.

Sir Remi watches on with raised brow, but makes no attempt to go between anyone as he finds himself unsuitable for the task.

GM: Say what you will do now keeping in mind that none of you like each other much.

Rescue medieval

The Game Master says...

You once again find yourselves unaware of your dire situation while squabbling with each other as you suddenly realize that...

GM: I have an extremely heavy schedule this week(end) so I will complete this after it is over, but of course feel free to keep discussion active in the camp and you may wish to share ideas about the following:

1. Speed of movement
2. Your character's Body / Mind / Soul
3. Main Goal(s)
4. Party loyalty

[medieval] The Rescue

The Game Master says...

(Continued from above)

...from your current outstanding position and that of the mountains' height (where someone may be stationed) anybody basically could see where you go and what you do as there is little to no cover for you. Again, the feeling of being watched touches the hairs on the back of your neck and you squint hard looking to see if you are within the perspective of an enemy's view, but alas you see nothing but the scenic landscape of green plains and trees to the North and the treachery of the desert like conditions of the South.

GM: I apologize, sorry for the long delay. Say what you will do now.

[medieval] Rescue - Page 4

The Game Master says...

You begin to wonder about your circumstances and if bringing more people in to assist may help. You look to the North where warm food and good rest is common place and to the South where death seems just as common place. You look at each other and think hard as the time passes by almost aimlessly.

GM: Say what you will do now.

[medieval] Rescue World Medieval PBP RPG - Page 4

The Game Master says...

Night falls and the winds within this area blows a cool desert wind that is dry to the tongue. You devise a plan by which you hope to somehow be the surprisers of anyone that would venture upon your camp - a camp that has been active all day long with fire, movement and little cover to disclose your number, your possessions and your possible strength.

With fire burning you lay down with an ear open and eye moving back and forth... the anticipation that 'something' is coming is enough for you to keep from sleeping. During the tide of Sabina and Cyroc you find yourselves under what you believe to be an attack of stealth and the only reason this is apparent is the arrows that have hit you in critical places leaving you with a loud voice of pain that awakens the rest of the group in a frantic state turning - looking - wondering at the darkness that reveals nothing of your enemy.

GM: Say what you will do now. Party stats have been updated to show those that were hit. Due to my long absence I will control absent players for a few posts giving them time to return. You may wish to contact them to participate or lose their RPG status.
