22 Pound Lobster Dies After Trip To The Zoo
Bubba died after being taken to a zoo. They were going to check him out to see if he would be able to endure a trip to Ripley's Believe It or Not, but died. They believe he was anywhere from 30 to 50 years old. The article has a picture of Bubba next to an average sized lobster.

I had assumed this lobster had been kept in captivity for a long while, since he had a name. However, that doesn't appear to be the case. It is amazing that he lived that long and grew that big. Of course, I believe the meat of a lobster that large would be tough.
