Do you think there is a proper way to confess wrong doings? Is there a particular pattern of making what you have done wrong - right? is it universal or based upon one's conscious and belief system? Edited: funbikerchick on 21st Apr, 2005 - 11:51am
Since confession is mostly for you to admit you where wrong, I feel that you can confess directly to God. My personal beliefs don't require confession, but my feelings on the issue is that God did not create a man who is worthy enough to stand as an intercessor between me and God for confession of sins. No man has not sinned or done something wrong, therefore, if I am to go to God, I can go directly to him in prayer and `confess` if I felt that where necessary.
That being said. God knows everything, and I don't feel that confessing is even necessary. Confession is something that man created so that he can feel better by getting his sins off his chest so to speak. Its obviously only my opinion on the matter, but it seems to me that people always feel better after talking about things, even if its just to their dog. People have a need to confess I think. It makes them feel better.
