Words That Offend

Sometimes there are certain words or statements used by people that are very offensive to persons within a certain Religion. Some of these statements are simple stereotypical phrases that are used to arouse either hate or despair. Do you encounter any of these? Do people refer to you or treat you badly based on your religion?

Offend Words

I often see people who seek to offend or make fun of another as ignorant and I tend to ignore their rants by switching them 'off', however, there is one thing that gets me irritated... and that is when someone says to me in a condescending tone if 'I know that Mormons worship Joseph Smith'. The question first of all sounds ridiculous since I am the 'Mormon' and the person asking is not , not to mention that us worshipping Joseph Smith is like asking any other Christian if they worship Abraham.
