That's a good question. I think that liberalism is the excuse to lack morals rather than the reason for it. Mankind has reached the stage of taking something good and wholesome and perverting it so that it becomes evil.

Comments: The people that are hated now carry the title of Christian, but they are not the Christians of old. Although some are, they are a minority and are not only persecuted by outsiders, but also from the mainstream church. They don't hold to church tradition, therefore they are ostracized. These few are like an advanced guard that sees the the church of today as a weak, blind, and naked shell of what it should be. These are the ones that picked up the Bible with a "I'm gonna prove this thing false once and for all attitude", but as they did God opened there eyes and they could see, and there ears and they could hear.
A man cannot see truth lest God reveals it to him. This cannot be accomplished by going to a church. Men come and men go, but only God can open his eyes. And God will not open your eyes if you are obstinate and stiff necked about your perceived beliefs. But if you realize that in all that you know, you know nothing. Ask Him and He will answer," if you ask in faith".
I set out to prove the Bible was written by ignorant cave men. I knew there was something, but I also knew that if God came to earth the last thing he would be is a Christian. I read and I asked in faith and He answered me in a genuine miracle. In a night vision I was caught up into a bright light of love that words cannot explain and the words, "I have seen God in the eyes of my Son" were spoken to me. I came to crying like a baby and in disbelief of what had just happened. I got up went to the restroom came back and got in bed. Just them I saw the Risen Jesus Christ at the foot of my bed with his arm open. With my own eyes I saw Him.
I am such a sinful and wicked man that I didn't believe in Christ even with that. I thought, "it must have been an electromagnetic field or something.... . ." It took Christ to open my eyes to my sinfulness and to His word to understand truth. Christ is alive, I saw Him, believe me or not I won't push anything on you. But let me just say this to you who think you know so much, as I once did. Where do you put your faith? In men and there wisdom, you see where that has gotten us. Or maybe science they know all right? . they say 96% of the universe is missing in dark matter and dark energy, they can neither see it nor measure it, but they know its there... Isn't that faith.
I see mans thinking in the "church" today. They are blind guides, foolish, holding to the traditions of men, back biting, and money hungry. Doesn't 30,000 denominations prove they are in the flesh. There is about as much unity in the church today as there is honor among thieves. They tell half truths and twist scripture to fit there agenda and fill there financial quotas... Blind fools, hippacrits, thats what people see today, and they crucify Crist again everyday. But the Church of God sees this, we are still here among this filth, some in every church and in there homes. We have faith in Jesus Christ because we know Him. We don't buy what man wants to sell us. Neither in the world nor in the man made church.
In conclusion Christ is real, those who know Him are Christians and Christ lives in us. Our bodies are His Church. The denominations that we see are just buildings full of men, with mans nature to do what man does, fight divide, argue, covet, backbite, love themselves, hate others, and do it all in the name of Christ.Men don't really hate Christians, few of you know us, they hate other men...

After having a revelation like that, it has got to have changed your life, I believe God reveals different things to us at different times, as we are ready for them, and I'm guessing although you may not have felt ready for a revelation of that size, God would have known that you were.

I find stories like that humbling. I hold my faith to myself most of the time due to the fact that I dislike a church telling me I have to be part of them to be saved. I am a very firm believer in Jesus the son the god and I will take any punishment man can give to me to try to make me deny him. I know where I will go when I die and that to me that is all that matters. I do spread the word when the opportunity arises. I will not force a person to go to church but I will try to get them to see the light.

Comments: How can you sit there and not now where you are from? its amazing how people think of all these retarded ideas like the big bang theory and we can from apes... But the truth is we came from GOD. Just answer these questions: 1) where did you come from? 2) why are you here? 3) how did the earth form? if you are not 100% sure that you are right then you don't know the answers... Its better to believe in something then nothing at all. You should believe in GOD. I think that this is a test to see how far we can get from GOD and I believe that it is working. But it isn't working for me. I KNOW WHERE I STAND!

Comments: You know April, you're right. This "Big Bang Theory" is a lofty theory to excercise and I might be a fool to believe in something with little evidence. I realize that believing in a supreme supernatural being that demands the follower not to search for evidence as it would be blasphemous is a far greater possibility. Yes, a God that has human characteristics such as greed, jealousy, and an ego the size of the universe is the prime example of something manking should worship.

2) Why are you here?
3) How did the earth form?

If you seriously believe that you can just answer with "GOD" then by all means do so. However, others choose the credible route with hard evidence and logical explanation. True, the scientists and philosophers may never be 100%, but neither can the religious.
