LASERS TO WARN PILOTS IN RESTRICTED D.C. AIRSPACE
Beginning in mid-May, pilots who intrude into restricted airspace over the
nation's capital will be warned by pulsating red and green laser beams, part
of a government effort to prevent a terrorist attack.

Pilots Warn Lasers
I think that this is a good idea. Anything that helps protect us with the use of new technology builds faith in technologies purpose. If it is not helping us then what is its purpose.
Hopefully having these advance warning for our pilots will help save lives in the bigger picture of things. I wonder how long it will take to implement this?
