FOOD PYRAMID BECOMES 12 PYRAMIDS
The government on Tuesday discarded its one-size-fits-all food pyramid in favor of 12 different triangle-shaped guides, each geared to people's differing lifestyles and nutritional needs.

Its about time that nutrition was based on the individual, or at least more towards that. Nutrition is not the same for everyone. In my case, I need more protein and calcium according to my doctor and less breads. Growing up in school we where taught one food pyramid. In actuality, I eat pretty close to that original pyramid, or did. But later found out that is not the best way for me to plan my diet. Glad to see kids will start learning how diet can effect them all differently.
